Cardiology III.
The exceptional versatility of an adult and pediatric-sided
stethoscope. Outstanding acoustics and superior versatility are
combined in the technology of the Littmann®
3M™ Cardiology III Stethoscope. Featured is
both an adult and pediatric-sided chestpiece, each incorporated with a
tunable diaphragm. This innovative design allows you to use both
sides of the stethoscope, for monitoring high and low-frequency sounds.
Also features solid stainless steel chestpiece, two-tubes-in-one design,
nonchill rims, adjustable double-leaf binaural spring and patented 3M
Littmann Snap-tight Soft-sealing Eartips. Superior versatility and
outstanding acoustics. The Littmann® 3M™
Cardiology III Stethoscope is the very latest innovation in auscultation
technology. The large side can be used for auscultating adult
patients, while the small side is especially useful with pediatric or
thin patients.
Two patented tunable diaphragms allow for listening to both low and
high-frequency sounds with either side of the chestpiece. Two
tubes are incorporated into a single-tube design that eliminates noise
artifacts created from two tubes rubbing together. For long
lasting performance and proper fit, the headset assembly is permanently
set at an anatomically correct angle. This minimizes air leaks and
prevents the headset from loosening over time.
To provide your patients with extra comfort, each chestpiece side
features a nonchill rim and diaphragm assembly. Patented Littmann®
3M™ Snap-tight Soft-sealing Eartips assure maximum
comfort and excellent acoustic seal. An extra pair of small
soft-sealing and firm eartips are provided to assure a personal
fit. Five-year warranty.
Length: 27 inches. Weight: 175 grams. Except for Black
(Short) - 22 inches. Weight: 165 grams.
Tunable technology provides convenience, versatility and enhanced
acoustics. Its dual-frequency diaphragm combines both bell
(low-frequency) and diaphragm (high-frequency) modes in one chestpiece
side. You control bell and diaphragm modes by pressure on the
chestpiece rather than turning it over. This innovative design
allows you to use both sides of the stethoscope for monitoring high- and
low-frequency sounds.
Bell Mode (low-frequency)
Use light contact with tunable chestpiece to hear low frequency sounds.
Diaphragm Mode (high-frequency)
Without turning the chestpiece over, use firm pressure to hear
high-frequency sounds.
